Editor’s Note
In the vast expanse of space, hidden from the prying eyes of the ordinary, lies the sanctum of a legend—the Hero Of The City. It is here that an extraordinary adventure unfolds, one that transcends time and space, beckoning a group of unsuspecting children into a world of wonder and heroism.
This is not just a tale of superhuman feats; it is a journey of self-discovery, of eight young souls who, by a twist of fate, are thrust into the heart of the cosmos to uncover the chronicles of a guardian whose deeds have become the fabric of the city’s lore. Within the hallowed halls of the Hero’s headquarters, among the relics and memories, the children find themselves part of a narrative much greater than themselves.
As you turn these pages, you embark on an odyssey alongside Kris, Lili, Arun, Neil, Matt, Soterios and James.—a voyage that will challenge their beliefs, forge their characters, and unveil the true essence of heroism. The ‘Records and Diaries’ they unearth are more than mere files; they are the testament of a protector whose life has been dedicated to the safety and prosperity of others.

Chapter 3: “The Beginning Of Hero of the City” And “Our First Mission”
- By Rowley Brookfield
File Binder 1: Masks
After the great war between Adventure View and Park View, the first blow of Adventure View was the bombing of Fortune City. The city was in chaos. A new gang had emerged, and they were unlike anything the city had ever seen before. They were called the Masks, and they were led by a mysterious figure known only as the Mask. The Masks were ruthless and violent, and they quickly took control of the city's underworld.
The police were powerless to stop them. The Masks were too fast, too strong, and too well-armed. The only hope for the city lay with the mission heroes, Aka the Hero of the city.
The heroes were a group of ordinary people who were experienced In their field and were led by me, Rowley Brookfield, a former SPY. The other Members included Ashish Feast, Faithful Friend of Rowley Chris Brookfield and Nolan Cambre, Army Veterans; Leon Feast, Namare Constantine and his brother Jim Constantine, as Police officers; and Tony Sebastian, as a Scientist.
The heroes knew that they were the only ones who could stop the Masks. They gathered together and launched an attack on the Masks' headquarters. The battle was long and bloody, but in the end, the heroes were victorious. The Masks were defeated, and the city was saved.
The victory of the heroes was a turning point for the city. The people of Fortune City realized they could rely on the heroes to protect them, and they began to see them as heroes. The heroes, in turn, were inspired by the people's faith in them, and they vowed to continue to fight for justice.
The Masks were not gone for good, however. They would return, and when they did, the heroes would be ready for them.
In the meantime, Fortune City was at peace, thanks to the courage and dedication of the superheroes.
But not for long As many more Villainous Figures Awaited their welcome........
File Binder 2: The Shadows That Lurk - “New Threats and Old Enemies”
The calm in Fortune City was short-lived. Just as the citizens began to feel a sense of normalcy, the ground beneath them trembled with the arrival of a new menace. The city’s skyline was darkened by the ominous silhouette of a colossal airship, casting a shadow over the streets below. It was the Dreadnought, a floating fortress helmed by the enigmatic Dr. Vortex, a genius with a twisted vision for the future.
Dr. Vortex was no stranger to the heroes. He was once a colleague of Tony Sebastian, the scientist among the heroes, but his insatiable thirst for power led him down a path of destruction. With an army of advanced automatons and a vendetta against the city that shunned his radical ideas, Dr. Vortex was determined to bring Fortune City to its knees.
The heroes, still weary from their battle with the Masks, knew they had to act swiftly. Rowley Brookfield, ever the strategist, called for a meeting at their hidden base. The team gathered, their faces etched with determination and concern. They knew this was not just another villain; this was a war on their home turf.
Ashish Foreman, the faithful friend, suggested a two-pronged approach: while some would work to evacuate the citizens and minimize casualties, others would take the fight directly to Dr. Vortex. Nolan Cambre and the Constantine brothers, with their military and police expertise, began coordinating with the city’s forces to fortify defences and prepare for the onslaught.
Leon Foreman, the tech-savvy member and the best police officer ever (Man No-wonder he was the Assistant Deputy Commissioner), worked alongside Tony Sebastian to analyse the Dreadnought’s weaknesses. They discovered that the airship’s power source was a volatile energy core, susceptible to sabotage. A plan began to take shape – a daring mission to infiltrate the Dreadnought and disable it from within.
As night fell, the heroes set out under the cover of darkness. The city held its breath, watching as the silhouettes of their protectors moved towards the looming threat in the sky. The battle that ensued was fierce, with the heroes navigating through a labyrinth of steel and circuitry, facing off against Dr. Vortex’s mechanical minions.
In the heart of the Dreadnought, they confronted Dr. Vortex himself. The clash was intense, with the fate of Fortune City hanging in the balance. But the heroes, fuelled by the trust of the people and their unwavering resolve, managed to overpower the mad scientist and reach the energy core.
With seconds to spare, they initiated the shutdown sequence. The Dreadnought shuddered, its lights flickering out one by one, before plummeting into the river, away from the city’s heart. Dr Vortex was captured, and his reign of terror brought to an end. Or was it Vortex Escaped with a mysterious Portal……….. which Namare exclaimed That he had seen this type of portal it was the same as one that his brother walked through and gone missing
As dawn broke, the heroes emerged victorious once more. The city cheered, their faith in the heroes stronger than ever. But in the shadows, a new figure watched, plotting their next move. The battle for Fortune City was far from over, and the heroes would need to be ready for whatever came next.
The story of the Hero of the City continues…
